Hi Dale, if you have a photo editor that has a special feature to it called coloring book try using that on it first. If not Pm me and I will try and help you. There is alot of different software for making patterns out of photos. Steve

Dale, By your comment about deciding what should be cut, and what should be left, I am guessing you are talking about a fretwork pattern. Maybe this will help. Start with outlining the moose head. Decide how you are going to cut it, will it be cut out, as in the entire perimeter of the moose head, or will it be defined in a background of wood such as "Someone Say Cookie" on the thread "Looking for boxer patterns". After you decide that, look for the features that define the animal, ie, eyes, ears, nostrils, and some fur to show the contours and muscles to the moose. Choose to have these features open cut with a little veining to help distinguish them. If you work it out this far, with pencil and paper or software, then show me a photo, perhaps I can help you tweek it a little more to get the pattern you want. Take care Toni
