| Letter Template Where is a good inexpensive place to get a Template for making names and such.
I have Word and have used it.
But what I am looking for is a set to use all the time.
Wood Craft web site has one but 40 bucks is expensive for me right now.

| I sometimes use small brass templates designed for scrapbooking.
You can get them at craft stores or Walmart.
Rick Hutcheson has some scrolling fonts on his site too.
Why not make your own template like the ones on Woodcraft
If you need a pattern I could make one up for you.

| A simple template Here is a template for you to try.
It is on an 8 1/2 x 14 legal size paper.
The second file is the same template over 2 pages
This is set for 1 inch letters.
Let me know if it will work for you and if you want a different size or font.
You can space the letters to run them together or spread them out as you need. I left tabs on them so you can trace around most of the letter. I could rest the letters on a flat line if that is preferred

| Another template Here is a template for letters that are a negative space. Each one only requires one hole. To give credit where it is due I started off with a font called Forte, by Linotype.
I have opened the "bowls" on the letters so the pieces don't fall out.
Once again they are 72 point or 1" high.
You can enlarge or reduce them when you print them off. If you cut one template you can use it over and over again.

| Standard question gets a standard answer Serif Page Plus 9.
It is a desktop publishing program.
I like it because it is so easy to use it practically teaches you.
I also like the fact it will publish as PDF.
I just converted the letters to curves and edited the nodes.
Some of the "bowls" or open spaces in the letters needed a little overlay to make them work. When it comes out as a PDF you don't see all the mess.
