Nice job and so sorry for your loss. It will be difficult to cut but you will have a long lasting heirloom to give to family members.

Nice job on the pattern. It may be difficult to cut, bit well worth it. I know I had a very hard time cutting a portrait of our son when he died, but it was a labor of love.

Sorry never seems to say enough but hopefully you're good at reading between the lines and understand that many people in here really do care and we do our best our sympathies. A loss of anyone close is always difficult. I've cut portraits of several people who passed away that I was close to and there's something about that connection of cutting and thinking of them at the same time that is very therapeutic. It's difficult, yes, but it really does something special with the "connection", at least for me. You're pattern/cutting turned out wonderful and I hope you felt a bit of the joy I've felt through the cutting process. I'm sure seeing it hung on the wall, admired and praised over time, will keep his memory alive and full. Good on 'ya Frieke!!

Andy
