It's okay for line drawing and some portriat making patterns. Though I don't like it, I've found that something like Elements or Photoshop do the same thing plus more and are better in the long run. If you can't afford either or don't already have Coyote, try these as they are free to use and do a great job in pattern making and easy to use. "Gimp" and "Inkscape" Plus you will find a lot more tutors on these two and have a pretty easy learning curve. I use Elements and Corel Draw for my pattern making but still have "Gimp" and "Inkscape" in my computer and have still use those pretty often as well. I wouldn't have bought Elements and Corel Draw if I had found out about the free ones before I did.

I used it and it does work, but I don't think you can get the detail with it that you can manually with PaintShop, Gimp, Etc. I've found that how well it works depends on the photo you are using and that if you prep the photo first (erasing backround, etc) it does a better job. All in all, it works, it's simple, and I like the fallout preview, but it's not my first choice. My suggestion is to download the demo and play around with it. It's free and fully functional except you can't print or save. But, you can see what kind of patterns you can make with it. And try before you buy is always a nice idea. Ray

I have never used this program, but I also have never heard of a positive review by any one who has used it and I think that is the rest of the story.
