Now that is funny. Could I ask a favor? Would you be able to make the same wording only with a man. Some of the men where I get my radiation have had to take hormone injections and are suffering from hot flashes. Thought it would be funny to hang this in the waiting room.

Thank the Lord I avoided this type of treatment....

I took your comment as funny, but thought others might like to know why I said what I did. There is a certain mystique around cancer unless you are being touched by it. I know I had no clue until my DR. said and btw you have Cancer.

I just want to share, Sorry for hi-jacking the thread.

Hormone therapy is one treatment in conjunction with radiation/chemotherapy for prostate and bladder cancer for men. Unfortunately one of the side affects is hot flashes, very similar to a woman going through menopause. 3 of the men I come into contact on a daily basis suffer from these. I really am glad I told my DR. No way...No how...

There are other side affects as well. Which I won't go into here....The treatment center where I have been going everyday for 5 weeks (sheesh 5 weeks already) has 72 patients everyday. 1 man after another every 15 minutes in 2 rooms undergoing radiation therapy.

This in and of itself is kinda sad since it is a small community.

Since I go at 11:30 I see the guy before me when he comes out and at least 1 or 2 of the fellas that go after me. Once in awhile I have gone in the afternoon and have met some other guys (and gals, there for other types of cancer) We have all become sorta tight.

Anyhow I'll jump off my soap box...sorry again for hijacking your thread Vortex and thanks again for the pattern..I know it will make some otherwise glum days brighten for those that see it.
