Default Halloween Tree

We didn't know what to name this pattern ... so unless you folks can come up a suitable name, He'll remain "Halloween Tree".

The pattern is done in segmentation with a little fretwork spider and spider web in the tree's limbs. Sue keeps challenging my fretwork skills...

Comments welcome.

Take care
Toni

Call it Dead Wood. But Halloween Tree is good but it kind of puts it as holiday only cutting. I like the lighting effect too.

LOL, well ...... we gathered the troops (really not much to gather since Sue and I are making supper and watching the forums in between burning supper) and held an emergency board meeting (it was her turn to pour the tea, so I climbed on the bar stool and pounded my cup to start the meeting) and we re wrote the birth certificate for "Halloween Tree" , born August 13th 2008, to Toni and Sue Chrestensen to read "Deadwood", Segmentation / Fretwork and will release the paperwork (update the name on the webpage) in due process.

Seriously, neither Sue or I like releasing the patterns without a "name". Thanks!

Take care
Toni

It's not dead wood, it's home to a spider.

Gosh Toni, the picture is kinda small on my end, but from what I see. whoooooo. scarry. love the moon, and the spider web with the dangling spider is awsome. I wish I could see the tree better. the shape is pretty cool. seems to have a face or something in it, but just can't see. your work is always wonderfull. Evie

Hi Toni

Google 'images' - 'Follyfoot Farm tree'. You'll find an incredible market in nostalgia .

The spider would be a bit out of place, though. A foal would fit much better.
