| Love All Around You (no matter how ugly) Deciding where to post this thread was fun.... should it be in new patterns or should it be under Fretwork and Portraits.... LOL.
"Love All Around You" is one of the new word art patterns/projects I've completed recently and when taking photos of it today, I was reminded how difficult it is to photograph mirrors. Since I always find it easier when there is a "subject" in front of the mirror I carefully positioned myself off to the side.
Would you believe I look rather good for spending the day in the shop, no make up, and having slept too little recently, ... not to mention the new clay like complexion (in contrast from the normal pale white vampire-like transparency), and my eyes don't look too good in this photo either, but all in all, the photo is better than the ones I took without a subject. Giggle.
Take care
Toni

| Neat pattern. You might want to put on sun glasses on when you leave the house though, those eyes are scary.

| Hmmmm...interesting. Was the picture taken when you first got out of bed in the morning? That's sorta what I look like when I crawl outa bed too! I love the frame and with a morning face like that we need to have love all around us.

| I am guessing that mirror was made of metal and not glass.

| ... for the kind words on the mirror/design and also for the remarks otherwise.
Dave - My hairdresser is a wonderful man (originally from Malta and very tan) who seems to think I need to get out in the sun, and tells me so. I admit my black suits and such don't help. I don't think he'd be too happy to accept credit for "that" look, but I believe the man will be relieved when I do turn grey so I won't look so pale to him.
Alan - Mirror.... glass/metal - you win the smart ass award! LOL.
Evie - yep, I agree... I have no use for long finger nails.
On a serious note, I was trying to get a rope like look with the "love" for this pattern. How many think I achieved it?
Take care

| What? is this post about the wood work? I like the way you put love all the way around and with a face like that you need as much as possible.
OK serious- I do not see the rope. A rope would show a lot of twist and am not shure if you could do that with letters. Maybe try a heart and a globe spaced between the letters.
