Default Christmas Tree

I don't have a pattern to show but rather am looking for a pattern

I got a request to make a couple dozen small Christmas tree ornaments (they are Christmas trees)
The pattern I have is a cookie cutter that I bought and trace and it doesn't turn out very nice.

I have spent a few hours searching for a nice looking Christmas tree pattern but have yet to found one.

If anyone has one and would be willing to share that'd be great
Thanks
Grant

Grant. how about a xmas card, with some trees on them, you could just draw off the card or copey it. and then cut it out of wood. adding your own personal things. just a thought, and becarfull of copey rights. but dang a tree is a tree. your friend Evie

I'll second Evie's suggestion! In fact I made a whole series of Christmas tree baubles from basic greetings card 'patterns'. There were candles, plum duffs, snowmen, holly... all sorts ; plus a very simple Christmas tree which I thought was rather effective when painted and sprinkled with glitter:

You might like to reconsider that cookie cutter and ask yourself if it doesn't have more potential than you realised!

Look at back issues of this magazine and the other one out there. They both have Christmas editions loaded with patterns. As I remember they had a lot of Christmas trees.

Your cookie cutter might be a good starting point. Try adding some free hand veining with a spiral blade and see how that works.
