Nice job on both Sue. I really like the box. Does the lid backer fit into the box as well? Not sure if I'm wording the question right.

Yes Kevin, the lid has a fitting inner lid. Dale, that pen was turned for me by a friend from Missouri, he calls it the 'Tiger' pen.

Thanks Paul, one thing re the hand saw project...it is about 21" long, therefore the pattern is in two sections. If you do not want the join in the middle, you could reduce the size so it can be cut in one piece. But if your two edges are nice and straight (I did mine on the disc sander) then the join is virtually invisible

Nice looking things there. I happen to prefer the box myself, but then name/room plaques are something that I have never done anything with past turning the idea over in my mind.
