Default Added a new free pattern to my site

Just in time for Christmas. I added a Santa to my site as this month's free pattern. This one should be fairly easy as it contains less than 100 cuts. If anyone cuts it I'd love to see a pic.

Also, there's several new patterns on the new patterns page including several from Jody Smith who is one of the finest religious pattern designers out there.

Paul,
Where did you have a problem? If there's anything I can do to help, don't hesitate to ask. This one is fairly stable, I'll double check to make sure nothing strange happened to the upload though.

Hi Kevin
It was nothing wrong with the pattern, as I said it was my first attempt so it is a learning curve, I read that you can wrap packing tape around it to make it more stable do you agree? I was using 3mm ply.
Thanks for your concern
Paul

Ahh, cutting a single piece of 3mm ply will present it's own set of challenges. If your saw is variable speed, I'd suggest slowing your speed down a bit to get used to cutting. As you gain experience, you can increase the speed. I started out cutting at very slow speeds until I got the hang of it.
I typically wrap all of my cuttings with blue "painter's" tape (it's easier to get off than packing tape) though this is more to aid in the ease of removing the pattern than to add stability. I'll typically try to stack at least 6mm of wood to cut.
