| Re: gallery photos I've noticed, while perusing the gallery, that the size of the photos that many members are posting are just too large for the PC screen. When clicking on the photo to enlarge it, it magnifies too much which really makes it tough to enjoy the photo. It also diminishes the sharpness. When saving the photo for uploading, try and resize it to no more than 900 X 650 or thereabouts. This size should fill the screen very nicely. I upload all mine at around 640 X 480 and when enlarged, they fill up half the screen. The size that many of you are uploading are 1200 X 1600 or larger, and that is just too large.
Thanks for your future compliance.

| OK, I understand the reason here, but perhaps it would help to explain how to accomplish this. My photos are shown in my folder as KB and not by size as you indicate. I have some as small as 6 kb and others over a thousand or larger. There must be a simple way to downsize the larger ones. Thanks

| I use ACDsee to work with my photos and it has a very simple command to change the photo sizes. I am sure most of the programs have similar was to change the photo sizes.

| To resize a photo, you need to open the photo in a photo editing program, such as Photoshop or PSP. I'm sure other programs work in a similar way. Then, just go to Image, then Resize, then Image Size and change the dimensions there. You'll want to change the pixel size. Don't worry about the size of the file. You just need to find where you can change the image size. If you need to save the large file for future use, be sure to call the smaller image something else under the save as command.

| I use Image Resizer. Its a free download from Microsoft. Select the photo in explorer, right click, select Resize Picture. Has several settings - small, medium, large, and handheld pc. The one I use most often for uploading.
