Most programs work the same way as far as resizing photos goes. Click on image in the top toolbar and then on the next window that pops up, click resize and then image size. Change the pixels and don't worry about the size in inches. The pixel size should be changed to no more than 640 X 480. To retain the original size be sure to save this as a different file and use this one for uploading.

Just wondering . . . why is it when you're posting an attachment to a message it will accept a 640 x 480 but not a 480 x 640?

Default Re: adding photos to a post

Hey Bob:
Thanks a lot for the instructions, after supper tonight I'll try to go over them and see if I can learn how to add a photo.
This all really started when I responded to a query about a favorite project in the fall issue. My response was that my wife and I hadn't finished working on our favorite project in the spring issue. We have assembled seven of the Victorian Birdhouses, four out of white oak and three of aromatic cedar.
The cedar houses have no scrollwork and will be left to weather naturally. We primed all of the oak houses and have completed one, although we didn't do all of the decorative painting. We wanted you folks to see that us eighty year olds don't spend all our time on intarsia and such.
Best regards, Walt Rollison.
