Default Why is the forum so slow

I hit a number of forums several times a day. Sadly this forum is far and away the slowest in terms of response time. I use the NewPost function and often there is a 15-20 seconds or even more delay in the view refreshing. Now I know some of the forums I visit have less traffic but others have more traffic. Is the staff aware? If so, are there any near term solutions pending?

Scott, I agree this forum does tend to be a little slow loading and surfing. I think it has to do with the vast wealth of knowledge contained here in. Not to mention sometimes we will have quite a few accessing the site at one time.

Some times it is slow, but most of the time it is OK.
