Default Review of new site look...

I like the look of the new forum. I have found a couple of issues.

When I click on the scrolling reviews up at the top the links don't go anywhere? Instead you need to click on the Chocolate brown divider where it says "reviews".

I also found that when I click through to read an article under editors column, Features & videos ..I get a message that I am not authorized to view this content, once I have clicked on the "full story" link. If we can't read em why post em? <wink>
Yhe videos play but no written article access.

Restricted access.
You don't have sufficient privileges to view this page.

It seems to load a little slower and I'm on dsl.

I like the no ads on the sidebar much better.

How about the rest of you what ya think?

Maybe it's just me, but the pages are too wide. I have to scroll back and forth to read the pages. I do have my monitor set at 800 x 600 pixels as it's much easier on the eyes! None the less I didn't have that problem with the old format. Is anyone else having this problem??

Not I try just changing the size of the font instead and you won't have to scroll.

Hey Mike I also found a hiccup.
I just tried to followup on your buffalo box post by looking for you in the 'list all blogs' page and it seems the layout is all screwed up

Hey Jim
You think it was hard to see my blog entry, you should have tried building it. I had to scroll down past all the stuff on the left sidebar to get to the blog post. Hopefully the staff can work out the bugs in the new layout soon .

Well, I changed monitor settings to 1024 x 768 and at least I don't have to continually scroll back and forth, but it's very hard for me to read it now. I don't think I will leave it this way, I just hope they can fix it!!!

Hi Cathy - try leaving the screen set at 1024 x 768 and hit the Ctrl key along with the '+' key at the same time. This will increase the text size and should help. You can keep increasing the zoom this way. To reduce the size hit Ctrl along with the '-' key

LOL Mike! - who'd be a webmaster eh!

The longer I use the NEW site today the more frustrating the slowness is becoming.
Perhaps, too many bells and whistles. I do not see a huge number of users online to be causing the server to get bogged down.

Come on Claudio lets get this thing into 3rd gear ...LOL

Default Well Crap

I thought I was going to really like the new site and layout. I did up until today. Now I have to scroll down below the "new books " Section on the left every time I want to read a post. Seems very silly to have to do that. Makes me want the old site back (almost).
