Default Photo Viewing

Anyone else having problems with one type of attached images loading okay and others not?

Specifically, I can view any .jpg image with very minimal delay, but if the photo is a .bmp, the computer just runs and run until I give up.

I realize it is something to do with with my Vista, but it get a little tiring not seeing all the posted pics.

I'm running Windows XP and have trouble opening up pictures too. Ever since the last upgrade I have had problems. As far as not being able to view pictures with a particular extension, I right click on the picture and it pops up in a new window.

I'm also running Windows XP, and I have problems opening some pics. Like Rick, I right click the thumbnail and open the pic in a new window. Some pics are so slow loading that I stop the process. I always thought it was because the pic was too large.

That makes 4 of us..I too use xp and I right click to see pics, but that negates the slide show aspect and forces using the back arrow etc..However I understand the new improved forum is almost ready and these issues are being addressed.
