What is this new way of showing pictures?? I clicked on a couple of attachments this morning and got a black screen with what I'm going to assume is a flash box?? with a spinning wheel in it. If I moved away from that to finish reading the posts the picture quit trying to load. OK - I'm on dial-up and I know others are too. I was able in the past to click an attachment and continue reading while the photo loaded on a new page. This would often take minutes, but as long as I could keep reading I would come back to the photo later. Now? Not going to be able to see anyone pictures. ![]() Theresa |

Unfortunately, Theresa, we had to upgrade the forum because of security issues; the company was no longer issuing security patches for the version of the software we were using. We were getting hammered by spammers and hack attempts. If you double click on the photos, it will bring them up in a separate window like the forum used to. Bob

Bob - Double clicking does not work for me. It yields the same results as single clicking. Right click and open in a new tab closely resembles the old way. Just my two cents.

Right clicking work too...I'm on a Mac, so I always try double clicking first. Bob

I seem to forget about dial up, it has been awhile. One plus of this new feature though is viewing a post with multiple attachments. You can slide back and forth through them

Thanks guys - I will open in new tab from now on. Ya Carl - there are some of us still in the back woods that can't get high speed without paying out the kazoo for satellite. T |

Where I live in Chertsey cable does not come around the lake and never will. Not worth it for them. And telephone high speed is not yet available either. It is already about 6 kilometers from my house but they tell me that it will not be for a few years. Satellite is outrageously expensive and not really high speed anyway, So when I'm up north I crawl. Diane
