I'm new to this web sight and am not sure of the protocals. We have three 20 inch Hawks, one has a stripped upper blade clamp and the other two are in the process of stripping out. Is anyone out there making upper blade clamps or selling upper blade clamps for these saws? Nothing like $3600 dollars work of unusable saws to turn off students!

Jim, Is there a metal shop in the school with a lathe? Might be a good project to teach how to use one to make parts like the holders. Just a thought. DW |
