Default New member getting aquainted

Hi to all,
I finally figures out how to join this group. I must be getting old but there just seems too many options to use in joining. I tried once before and finally gave up. I seemed to have made it this time. I'm going on 80 years old and have been using my RBI Hawk scroll saw for over 15 years. I enjoy cutting on it and send for many patterns. I have been using red oak for a backing. It seems to give a nice contrast to the scrollwork after spraying in with urethane. Always looking for new ideas to cut out. Would like to cut out some silhouettes and I'm always looking for new ones to cutout. I also dabble in magic so I will be looking for magical scenes to scroll.
Thats all for now. Will be happy to speak with anyone with the same interests
By the way. I tried the peacock but had to give up. Too many holes.

Welcome Joe.When I joined, there was no magic involved in joining, but I suppose now with so many scam artists online they may have put a few hoops in there to jump through to get to be a member. sadly, even with all those, the trickery is still evident at times.Once your a member, theres really no secret trap doors, or magic words involved, and consider your mouse your magic wand!Dont do a disappearing act, with 15 years of experience, I'm sure you can pull many rabbits out of the hat and teach us all a lot! Again, welcome!
