Hey BobD How practical would it be to have a section just for the ornament swap this year ? With so many participants and the high level of enthusiasm, there have already been many posts and I anticipate many more as things really ramp up . I have already received many beautiful ornaments and have many to publicly thank, but do not want them to be lost in the general body of the posts Any-hoo , just a thought. I'm sure it is no small task to set up forum sections and everyone on the admin side of this wonderful site already work so hard at making this the best forum of any kind on the net

I second your idea. I too recieved quite a few, and in fact left them still in the envelopes until tonight because I havent got mine sent yet. I did get a coat of finish on them today, so I thought I might as well open what I've got already. Lots of nice pieces here! I too will try making one or two posts thanking everyone , it just seems easier for me, and they wont get lost in the shuffle. Dale

I also think that would be a good idea. It would much easier find all the posts on the swap. Bob

I would enjoy such a section if it were practical. The question would be up as to whether to leave it afterwords, or could it be moved to be a subforum of one we already have, and not show on the main page? I know some forums can do this, but I am not sure about vBulletin. Tor

G'day Bob, I think that is great idea had by Robert. It would remove a lot of clutter from the other sections and allow us all to go directly to a mapped area to see what has been received and given. I'll second or third or just support the motion

Give me a few days. I think it's a good idea. I'm just swamped with deadlines right now! Bob
