    Hi Joe My apologies for not seeing your note for a week. Traveling.

    When the motor quits it is 1)a bad electric connection, as in unplugged or loosely plugged cord or loose wire, 2) brushes in the motor have worn down or gone bad (they live behind round plugs on each side of the motor) or the motor just died, but that is usually accompanied by an electrical burn smell.

    Spinning the action worked for me. Did it a couple times in the switch OFF position, then a couple times in the switch ON position, then it caught and ran.
