    Hi, Sally,
Just found you on the Scroll Saw Woodworking site and notice you live in Renton. I'm fairly new to scroll saw work and am really looking for people to talk to, have coffee with, or just meet to "talk shop." I, too, am a Senior Member, 77 years old, female, married and live in Bellevue. I'm a director with the Washington State Gourd Society - Washington State Gourd Society and I really want to talk scrolling with someone who's eyes don't glass over.

I happened upon an old thread where you expressed interest in set of Christmas star ornaments by Sheila Landry and you wanted to know where to find them. They are not listed on Sheila's site because the rights were sold to All American Crafts. There are now 2 sets and they can be found at scrollerltd.com on the following pages

I hope you keep an eye on sheilalandrydesigns.com as well. I have recently started scrolling under her tutelage and actually have a few patterns on her site :-)

    Hi Sally!
Thanks for your kind words. Your idea is well taken, however, the frame alone took me about 4 days. You see, there is no finish on the Rosewood, other than 600 grit.
I will use your idea on the next portrait.
    Merry Christmas

Thanks Jerry, That is the class project from the class I took with Kathy Wise a year ago. She was a good teacher (only two in the class) and it was a fun trip.
