That's really great. I have heard of the powermatics but I have never used one. We have some really great puzzle makers on the site here. They give advice freely and show their work often. I have enjoyed working puzzles since seeing them done here some years ago. I also do a lot of fret work. I just seem to like it. I got into scroll sawing when my daughter was in 8th grade and she got into the "Jurassic Park" story by Michael Creighton. I saw a scroll saw Dinosaur picture/scene and I went out and bought a scroll saw and started cutting. That was about 18 years ago now. I have enjoyed it quite a bit over the years. I tell people it helps me keep my head straight. Good luck to you and happy cutting.

I think it is pretty nice that a youngster of 13 would be interested in woodworking. Who's saw are you using? How did you get into scrolling? I think it is a pretty good thing that you are doing this.
