Here is the current state of the Haunted House. I tried painting it in greys but it didn't have any personality so I added some blues, greens, and browns. I made a platform for it with two 5w nightlight bulbs reflected by a tin foil wall behind it to light the windows, candles were too dim. I took the candles from the back and put them in front on the corners. That helped the look alot. I've still got to do some landscaping in front and put some fugurals in the windows to make it more spooky....

I have all of my windows installed and have started painting. I tried several types of materials for my windows. I thought that different types of windows would add variety. The only material that held on to my stain glass paint was the write on overhead transparency film. The paint flaked from all the other materials I used. The installed windows actually look pretty good. I'm happy with how they turned out.

I tripple stacked cut the block pattern with 3 different thicknesses of wood. I used match sticks...

I've finished cutting the center section (whew...lots of windows). I forgot to show the dragon and cat in the bic I've posted. It is nice to be able to use up at least a small part of my scrap bucket. As I get closer to painting I get more nervous about the finished project...
