Bob, something is wrong with the forums. I can't seem to log out of the carving forum without closing my browser and I noticed today on the scroll saw forum, once I log in, if I leave and come back I get your name under login/out. I cleared the cookies to see if that helped and it didn't.

Bob, do you all take requests? I would like to put in a request to have one of the new Hawks reviewed. That line of saws has played a long an important role in our hobby, but we know so very little of their latest offerings. I know you use the G4, so you are in a prime position to give some credible observations (and lots of pictures please) of these new saws. The specific areas of most interest would be their new clamps and proported reduced vibration.

In the back of your mind, I would also like to plant a seed for the review of proxxon and PS Wood models as most of us know very little about them.
I know your team is small and over utilized already . . . but I think this content would be a high interest item for inclusion in the mag.

We have been having trouble using this forum. Are you having trouble? there is spam messages and links; and our posts dissappear, replies were made to our post and other posts and they dissappear. we had hoped to help by reporting specific problems, but things don't seem to be improving. Can we do anything? This site has been a good one for us. Thank you. Norman

Hi Gang,
People have had trouble posting photos to a thread (as an attachent). Hopefully this will help.

After you write your post, scroll down below the area where it says "Submit New Thread"

This will take you into the "Additional Options" area. Scroll down and click on the "Manage Attachments" button.

It will bring up another window where you can browse for the files you'd like to upload. Once you choose the files, click...

There are quite a few changes to the site that I've noticed already. In addition to the new way to view attachments, the upgrade includes a quick reply to private messages (which I love!).

You can also include a bit more information about yourself (if you so choose) in the profile area. Friends can visit your profile and leave messages for you there—the messages will be visible to all registered users, unlike private messages which only the sender and recipient can read.
