I finally saw reason in you blokes in the US of A not going metric. You may just have something.

It's only marks on a ruler, anything that is consistent can be used. I sometimes find myself pulling out my printer's rule and measuring in points (72 per inch equiv.)

We missed our chance in the 1970s. And I'm sorry for it (except I quite like 68F as opposed to 20C)

I believe that we are 1 of only three countries left on the English system. The other two, as I remember it are Brunai and Yemen. As Jim said, we blew it in the 70's.
