Little Johhny

Little Johnny is trudging up the highway, barely able to get one foot in front of the other, leaning against the heavy load he is moving in the blazing sun.

As he crosses the driveway of Mr. Smith, the old man yells, "Hey Johnny, why you pulling that chain?"

Johnny looks up and answers, "You ever try to push it?"

I was at a safety seminar a few years ago and the injury prevention expert told us that it's always easier and safer to push a heavy weight than pull it. I told her I disagreed with her and used the example of pushing a chain. She had to think about it for a while them finally agreed.
