Default My newest pattern

Hello everyone, I haven't been a member here very long but a lot of the Intarsia people know me. I thought I would post a picture of the latest pattern I'm working on, the cutting is complete and I need to start shaping it now.

Your wonderful designs just amaze me all the time Bruce!! I love the colors you've chosen. What are some of the woods you used.

This was based partly on a picture which I changed and added to to get what I wanted. I used Bloodwood, Redheart, Snakewood, Lacewood, Several shades of Poplar, Basswood, Douglas Fir, Narra, Blue Pine, Maple, and Spalted Oak.

That's a really nice composition Bruce. I'm anxious to see the finished piece when the wood pops with the final finish.

It should be magnificent when it's finished.

I'm curious - is there a reason why the boy's hiding the carrot behind his back?
