Default Finished Janettes bobcat

After nearly 4 month I finished the bobcat. It was a long and sometimes hard way , but now it´s done.

If you like you can follow the steps on "works in process".

Excellent job Angelika, it really turned out very nice. Great choices on the wood and shaping.
Did you leave out the tree on purpose?

Default Bobcat

Thank you for your nice comments and I have to admit that I feel a little bit proud...

I left the tree on purpose - I scrolled it but I thought it was too much: many different kinds of wood, grains and colours, so I decided to leave it. Perhaps I may use it on another project.

By the way: another project. What will I do now in the evenings? I have to think about my next intarsia...

I add a picture with the tree so you can see what I mean.

You've done a fabulous job! Your wood choices and shaping are excellent. You've done my design justice for sure Maybe you're ready for one of Bruce's next !! (or I've got a lot more kitties to choose from!)

Thank you for sharing your work in progress with us.
