Default Bass

I started making this last year and had to quit. Then I lost the pieces I had cut. So started another one a month or so ago and finally finished it. The bass is green poplar with some stain added, aspen, and red cedar. The lure is red cedar and canary wood. Back board is pine with red like morning or evening sun, and blue pine for the water.
Any comments welcome. Pattern is Judy Gale Roberts from "Small Intarsia"

The three colors on the back board really set off the fish! Love the blue pine for the water, with the red sunrise/sunset color in the center. Nice!

Wow, this is one really sings Fran. I love the whole picture, but your choice of background wood really makes this intarsia special to me.

Now if I can just replace the guy in the boat with a guy in waders and a trout to replace the Bass, i will have a nice gift for my flyfisherman son.

Really nice Fran! Great work! Like everyone else the background really sets it off! You should enter that in the State Fair, registration/entry forms need to be mailed late July, all the info is online.

Very nice project with a lot of thought going into the presentation.
I especially like your contouring of the intarsia itself.
