Default turkeyman request.

Back in July Turkeyman(Ed) posted a picture to have made into a scrollsaw pattern. He also asked if someone would be will to try it as an intarsia project. I took the challenge. I reworked the original picture he posted a bit and came up with a pattern. Well I had finally got caught up and finished the turkey. I sent it off to Ed earlier this week, and it arrived today. I got a call from Ed telling me he loved it and so did his wife. He may want another one made in the future but bigger. Ed asked me to post a picture of it.
The final piece was roughly 12 x 10. It had 65 pieces, and 8 different species of wood. Which are aspen, aromatic cedar, cherry, poplar, paduak, walnut, wenge, and yellowheart. So here it is.

Super turkey! You did indeed nail it. Great job on the design and the finished piece. Ed's gotta love it!

Default Great Job

I DO LOVE IT !
Clayton did a bang up job. The picture does not do it justice. I had to call him to personally thank him, no way would an email suffice for the appreciation I have for his work.
And yes, I will need another one, even bigger. The wife stole this one for her office.
The man who originally designed this "Turkeyman" had no idea I would go this far with it. He thought it was all a joke. Although he loves it and uses it in his portfolio for other customers to see.

Again, thank you so much Clayton
