Default First Attempts

Here's a couple of my first attempts.A stork for my daughter for the birth of her first child and my first grandchild. The clock comes out and I have a picture frame to go in the opening when we get one.Maybe a sonogram pic.The bear was suppose to go over the door frame looking over it with the claws on either side grabbing the frame but that's where my wife wanted it, end of discussion.Learning a lot and having fun and that's whats it's all about right?

Thanks for all I've learned from this site.
Dave

Nice stork! That is a keeper. And I love the way the bear is peeking at you from his perch far above. Fits well with the house architecture from what I can see in your pic. Nice.

Hi Dave - welcome to the section. I agree with the other Jim. A great start! I like the bear, a neat idea. Plus you are 100% correct. Having fun is what its all about, even when you are tearing your hair out trying to solve a particular problem.

Thanks for sharing with us
Looking forward to seeing more of your work in the future

Nicely done. Looks like you learned early on the wife is always right.
