Hi Steve! - great to see you posting here. That is a really lovely piece and very skillfully made. Thanks for posting

I hope you'll be able to share more of your talent in the forum in the future and if you can please post some work in progress photos I'm sure I speak for all when I say they would be very appreciated as they really help to encourage and educate newbies and relative newcomers to intarsia and segmentation.

Great work pal!

Steve, your hummingbird is perfectly shaped! Very well done overall, but the shaping is what grabbed my attention at first glance! Thanks for posting.

Beautiful piece. As a fret cutter, I appreciate the time and talents of you intarsia folks and stand in awe of the time and talent exhibited on this piece.

Thank you all for the kind words, they are much appreciated. It's good to hear from you Pete, things a fine here and I hope to finally finish the chief soon, and the cowboy, and the indian girl, etc. etc. lol. I have a bad habit of putting things aside but I'm feeling committed to finish them now. I hope to post pics as I go and participate more if I can. Thanks again everyone.
