Default Intarsia Project # 300

Well This is my 300th intarsia project that I just completed. I have been numbering all of them from old # 1 on. #1 is with me in the shop not for public display. Any way this is all hardwoods first time ever. Black walnut, Aspen and Yellowheart. Photography is not the best but that is another story.

Hi Pete,

That is just awesome. I asume a JGR pattern. LOL The colors are superb. WOW #300. If you count the little bird magnets, I think I am on #25.

Pete, this is Awesome! Wonderful! Spectacular! Very impressive piece of art. Congratulations.
How long have you been doing intarsia? Me too I have been numbering my project since #1 and I am a little behind you. It has been 6 years for me and I just finished the #278 this week.

That is an awesome, beautiful eagle! Great job! I never once thought about numbering my projects but think I'll start now.

Beautiful job!! See hardwoods aren't so bad

I'm over 300 but not sure exactly how many. I started numbering in 2006 - so from 2006 on, I just completed #291. I know there's a bunch before that but not sure how many. How do you number yours? I use a sequence #, month, year so I just finished 65.09.09

It's beautiful! I really like the different colors in the feathers. And the body is fantastic.

Pete,
You truly are a master! I never thought to number mine. duh. I had to stop and think back how long I have been doing intarsia. 12 years. But who knows how many I've done. So many I gave away and have forgotten about I'm sure. I doubt I'm nowhere 300, though.

Anyway congrats. #300 is a masterpiece. And you do beautiful work in hardwood as well as WRC.

Pete,
I love it. THe texturing on the eagle is terrific. Wow 300. If I ever hit that many, I will have to buy a new house to hang them on the walls. LOL
