Default Bang bang..... I got it this time!!!

Good evening everyone!! I had decided today that I would try one more time cutting this gun out and if it didn't fit I was giving up!! I just some softer woods this time and really took my time!! This is the results:

Here are a couple close ups:

I think the softer woods helped immensely!! I had cut this out two times before this with much harder wood. I just could not get the pieces square!! The woods I used this time are Peruvian Walnut, Madrone and Bass Wood. Now to start shaping!!! This will be for my Dad who loves guns! I'm going to try making a box with wooden hinges to put this in. He doesn't hang things on the wall!!

G'day Cathy, Excellent cutting, and I do mean it.

I think I'll just send you the pattern for the Kentucky long rifle that i want to do and when I get it back I'll brag about what a great job I did.

Hi Cathy! - that cutting puts me to shame and I'm not kidding. Excellent and I also like your choice of woods. So, next job is to take a chill-out pill and get that shaping done eh!

Looking forward to seeing your progress!
