Toni and Sue did it again - they came up with a couple neat designs and I got the chance to cut them out! Tweedle Dumb is the Rooster, Tweedle Dee is the other bird (parrot?). I wanted to try a different coloring with these - I thought if I used Oak that the leather dye would soak into the grain more - then I could sand off the top of the color leaving streaks of color. It worked to a point, but not as much as I hoped. Theresa |

Theresa Wow, what coloring and excellent work! I like the look of those and the cutting and shaping are right on the mark as usual. What are the sizes? |

Thanks Guys! Dave - T. Dumb is about 8 x 9 1/2" and T. Dee is about 5 x 11" (if you lie him down). Denny - I really like the bright colors you can get with the dyes. I do a lot of mixing to get the colors I need. I do have to use acrylic paint for the white - the white dye doesn't come out very white on wood. Theresa |

Theresa - those look wonderful. I like the bright colours for these two cuttings. Toni and Sue always come up with the most interesting and fanciful patterns don't they?
