Default Eagle - 50 Inches

This is my attempt at Judy Gale Roberts' 50" Eagle. Used walnut, maple, basswood, red bitch and wenge. Weighs a ton!!!

Thanks for looking.

Brian - That is SIC! If that was my creation I would have it attached to the living room wall for everyone to see. You did a bang up great job on it. I'd imagine your grin is from ear to ear. Good job!!!

I did the 32" one so I can imagine the time and effort that went into that gorgeous example!!!

I would be afraid to put that one on the wall, for fear of it pulling the wall down! LOL

Great work, but would like to know what kind of wood is 'red bitch'?

Great work. Very impressive, wish I had the skill and patience to do that. Maybe some day I'll get there. Display it so all who visit may enjoy it as well as you.

Dragyn: Ah, fat fingers or freudian slip...obviously it should be BIRCH. Probably a good thing Momma doesn't prowl this forum, eh?

KTScroller: that's where it is. Top of the stairs - can't miss it when you come in.

Thanks to all for looking!

That is certainly worthy of LOTS of bragging, beautiful, excellent choice of woods.

I have to try something like that, one of these days.
