I will not even try to compare my Rooster with Groverd - his was just amazing. As I do not have the wood available to me for that type of Intarsia - in order to get those woods I have to drive 125 miles to WoodCraft and then pay an arm and leg for it so - I just use what I have - which in this case was aromatic cedar. Both of these items were made for a neighbor who has her kitchen decorated with Roosters.

Larry: There's something to be said for the use of a single wood. It adds a very natural feel to the piece and something that would be easily recognizable in most homes. Most people have seen cedar and are familiar with it.
