Default Welcome wreath with birds

Howdy group. Been working on that piece for the past month... very much part time though. Been struggling with all those pieces moving around, trying to figure out the best way to fit and assemble the project. Today, I glued up smaller areas around each bird to make it easier for me to trace and cut the stalks . Then I will shape them and the flowers.

The size of the project is about 16 in x 16 in.

I made this wreath design for my sister in law who is always challenging my intarsia skills with her crazy ideas!

Comments are always welcome.

Yikes! - 5 birds in 1 go Henri? - that's just showing off! No wonder you've been hiding away a bit

Well, looks like you have another stunner in progress to tease us with.
Looking forward to the final piece

Henriette your work is always great, but this piece is really beautiful. I love the birds. Seeing this piece makes me really want to get back at my intarsia projects, soon the gifts will be done then... saw dust
