Hi Gang. Some of you already know me but I'll introduce myself to the rest. My name is Steve and I'm from Pa. I've been doing intarsia for about 8yrs. now and really enjoy it. I've been regular student of Judy Gale Roberts and Jerry Booher so I have to give them most of the credit for any talent I may have. I've done some portrait scrolling but like intarsia because it satisfies my urge to carve. I guess I get the best of both worlds. I hope to post from time to time as it's clear this is a very friendly and informative group. I'll try to post my latest piece but not sure if I'll be successful. Great job on a JGR pattern Steve. How is it going. Haven't heard from you in awhile and saw this post. Was down Tenn last month and helped Judy with an Advanced course. Hey have you finished the Indian? Take Care Pete |

Beautiful job, Steve. As you told me the ring instead of solid back do make it more of a challenge. Seems you can make it more 3D also. Fran |
