Default Segmentation Projects in Progress

Thought I'd share a couple of segmentation pieces I am working on. The first is a tiger for my son's soccer coach. The pattern is from Neal Moore in the Fall 2005 issue of Scroll Saw Workshop. The finished piece is approx. 10" x 12". I just finished cutting it out and removed the pattern. I will start the staining soon.

The second tiger is from our school mascot, the tiger. The pattern is based on the tiger on the school's logo. Not sure how it will turn out, but I wanted to give it a try. It is 6" x 6". Shown is the tiger after it was just cut and pattern removed.

Thanks for looking.

Great job pcguy,
what kind of wood did you use.
One question, are those whiskers on the neal moore cat a bit fragile,
just wondering?

Can't wait to see them finished. I got Neal's book because that tiger really struck me. Now to make time to try it one of these years!
