Hi, I am so sorry this is so late, but I finally got in the shop after getting my squirrels to vacate and repairing the electric that it chewed up and cleaning up the mess. I finally got my Nuthatch finished. I know this is very late, but at least I did finish it. I am sorry it is so late but you need power to use the scroll saw. Very nice job you did on the little nutter, Jackie. Your combining segmentation (painting) and intarsia (natural woods) makes your pieces more "colour accurate" than can can be done using only natural woods. Glad you're finally able to be back in the shop. And no problem being late. There really is no such thing as "late," for the nuthatch thread. I'm still hoping to see more eventually! Each one is a real treat. Lou

| 'Senior' member - no way! | Hi Jackie - Welcome to posting and to the board. Your 'nutter' turned out really nice and yet another variation on the theme. I also like the combination of natural woods and staining. It's a great answer for folks like me who have restricted access to more colourful woods. I'll update the slide show later on after I recover from what in Mexico is called a 'lapso bruto' (a stupid moment!) since i accidently deleted the master powerpoint file I used to make this show a few days back after crashing my computer !!! I just hope I can find a back up - LOL! Well done! updated - sorry for the name confusion!
