I've been silently following the thread and from what I've seen they all seem great.

Jim, your frog is almost lifelike due to your choice of wood.

Here's my froggie. A great big to Janette for a fun learning experience. I know I'm going to do more Intarsia! It is a challenge, but the enjoyment and end result for me were worth every minute.
Leaf is Cherry, Head and Knee - Black Locust, Eyes - Cocobolo,
Pupils - Ebony with inlaid Holly for the dots, Toes - Boxwood, Lip - Green Poplar and the
Chin and Neck - Holly.

I've been following the thread and I think we have some really good wood artists in the making. Great job by everyone so far.

Finished mine today . We can't all be great artists but some of us try . I sort of themed mine after the Australian Fires . He is a survivor . I wasn't happy with my selection of wood , cedar and pine , so I thought I'd try something different . I used my propane torch to give it a different look . It has a clear varathane finish . I've included a before and after picture .It was a very interesting project .
Thanks Janette for the experience.
