Default Mean Old Dragon

I had a special order off of Etsy - a sign with a full bodied dragon (vs just a head) with "Mean Old Dragon" on it.
I found a fret-work pattern and converted it to intarsia. Glued the dragon on a nice piece of Oak, and scrolled the words out. The recipient was thrilled!

Theresa,

I really, really like that. I can certainly understand why the recipient was thrilled. Send me one and I will also be thrilled.
What is Etsy? How big is it?

Thanks Guys!
Rolf - Etsy is a site where people can sell their hand-crafted items. Etsy :: Your place to buy and sell all things handmade I have a site there - Etsy :: WoodNGoods :: Wood N Goods ~ Made in Michigan Scrollsaw Art & More
The site has been around for 3 years. Not as big as Ebay, but a lot of artists have moved over from ebay to etsy lately.

Great dragon! I've heard about esty. Haven't put anything there for sale yet, but some vendors I know say it's great.

That is one lovely dragon - and far from mean. I, too, would be delighted to receive this as a pressie - even though the sentiment may be a little "iffy" (unless of course the recipient is a mean old dragon and, then, it is far too cute)!!!

Thanks everyone!
Sue - it is going to be a present to the buyers friend whom she calls "mean old dragon"

Etsy's been doing well for me. I've made quite a few sales, and have had a number of special orders. Which is better than any other website I've been on.
