Default Kozee -

I went to the local animal shelter and took some pictures of the dogs and cats there. So - made the design and the cutting - have another cat and 2 dogs I'm working on too. They are building a new shelter with much needed additional space for the animals. When my intarsia sells, I'll donate some to the shelter. I may also donate a couple right to the shelter when they open the new one. I just have to get them done first! lol

You captured the image quite well. I'm sure the shelter will appreciate any and all donations.

As a good friend of mine always says, "You dun good!"

Theresa, What a wonderful thing to do!! They should have a raffle and sell tickets to win your wonderful intarsia pieces!

Thumbs up

Theresa
You sure have captured the likeness very well! I like your choices in the wood and grain direction. As JohnB would say "Good on ya" for helping the shelter.

Thank you! It was tough getting something dark enough to represent the black on the cat. The next cat I have to do is black and white - so I won't be able to use the grey pine or walnut. Need to find a substitute.

Forester21: I love cats and dogs and what you have done is really superb, both artistically and altruistically. I see that you sell on Etsy. So do I although what I sell is mostly not wood working.
