Thanks! Half the fun is picking out the woods. I purposefully wanted to make this one colorful - think of a coral reef- lots of colors and textures. I'm thinking I may have to make a pattern for a full underwater reef someday

Hey Work-- Nice job of cutting and colors. But I don't know if I would want to run into her at night in a dark alley. I have a weak heart. (:

sorry I just couldn't resist.....

Janette, I think all of us would love to see you do that. if any one can, you could. I bet it will be grand. just wondering, are you a deep sea diver? if so. you have one up on us. the colors must be amazing. gosh. I would love that. and to cut it in wood. wow. what a gift, that would be grand for sure. I also love the way you picked the wood and cut it so small, and shaped it. coral and all. I just can't wait to see. I can just see this going along way. I am claming, for you. really no pun. your friend Evie

Not a deep sea diver for sure! Just looking for an excuse to make colorful projects! It's on my very very very long "to do" list! as I said...someday!

Janette - I agree you are a master - you also proved mixing softwoods and hardwoods is not a problem.

Nice going Janette, I love the way that you do your work. I can only hope to learn to do things like that, as I am only a bigginger, and have not done any of this kind of work yet. I do have a 16" Delta that I got second hand from another wood worker in the club that I have joined. He bought a Dewalt 20 " and I hope that some day I get one just like it, as it is a beautiful machine to work with.
