| Continuing the Miniature Fad Here... I thought you might enjoy seeing this gosling I just put into one of the pieces I am working on. For those forced to live with linear measurement units of inconvenient size, the coin is 17.5mm in diameter. I think I needn't post the better units, since those people will probably have one of the coins to check with.

| Do you use a microscope!? That's really adorable. Now there's one way to save on the cost of wood. I throw out lots and lots of pieces larger than that- perhaps you'd like me to send them to you? |

| nice work... a while back, Woodcrafters had an open house and they had a guy showing how to do this type of art form with veneers..
to bad he was doing his presentation the same time as the band saw tune up...
he only had one lady who watched him, me and everyone else was learning about the band saw...
keep up the great work and I can't wait to see the whole project..

| Thank you for the comments. I cannot imagine doing some of these pieces on anything other than my Diamond, inserting the birds in particular. I really do take it down as low as about 30SPM at times. That is one second up, and then one second down. The other thing I can no longer picture working without is the foot pedal.
I did include a picture from a greater distance, but without coins this time. I am still deciding about adding a bit more, but it is getting near mounting. Seeing the clear face will have to wait five days to a week after it is mounted, so you will have to look around the tape for now.
