Default ? for Janette

Approximately how long did it take you to do the bird feeder?
I think I would like to make a smaller version of it as I don't have wall space for something that big.
Also if you were to sell it in your neck of the woods what would be a reasonable price for such a work of art.?

You really want to know??!!

Of course being the first time I made it...and not having pictures to go by...it took longer than it may the next time around. It took me 56 1/2 hrs to complete altogether- which for this piece I think is pretty good!

Yikes, 56 1/2 hours for you translates into 200 or more for me!

I will work and work to get as good as you one day.

Smaller pieces don't necessarily mean easier. They're harder to handle and go flying farther when sanding! (which I why I glued as I went- easier to keep track of them all~) It's a beautiful project and if taken in segments like I mentioned in the article it IS managable. Easier to say."I'll get this little birdie done today" than look at the scope of the whole thing.
