| Scott - Theresa is on the money with Woodfinder. Local sources are always cheaper and many of the hardwood suppliers have a cut off bin that they sell out of by the pound which is great for intarsia or segmentation work. Good luck to you and welcome to the greatest scrolling site on the net!

| Hi scott, I have been doing intarsia for about five years. my dad got me started. I found a bunch of good suppliers on e-bay. type in the word lumber. Look for unique grain patterns and watch the shipping charges some folks are high. One of the best people I have dealt with is cook woods. I use alot of exotics. I saw that someone recommended Oocooh hardwoods. I get my aspen from him in bulk. I live in fkla. no aspen here. Jeff |
