Default Latest project

Hey all...

Finally i post a small project of me, the pentagram lidded box that includes a bit of intarsia and woodturning....The woods i used are American walnut and Ash.
Many projects where i am busy on require sanding with a dremel and at the moment i am waiting for some parts so i am stuck....pretty crap to be honest....sooo i just keep cutting out some patterns and when the bits arrive i got loads to do...

Danny

A GREAT project Danny and an excellent combination of turning/scrolling!

Still looks more like inlay than intarsia. Nice work though.

I liked the box! I have been planing on doing something like that for a while. I have been a woodturner for a few years and just ordered a DeWalt scroll saw for doing just this type of stuff (along with getting into some intarsia)

Hey all...

For the ones that want to make it too i made a quick sample of how to make your own pentagram lidded box....this pattern is 5 mm bigger than what i used.....Do a rightclick and save it to your computer and print several on one page...it saves some paper.

Good luck all...
Danny
