Aligning Odd-shaped cuts I just finished a gift (see my Ga Tech Cutting post in the Bragging Section) that is in the shape of the state of Georgia. I wanted to frame it so aligning it on the backing with symetry was important. I accomplished this by preserving the outer waste material as one piece. I aligned the waste against the backing and slipped the glued cutting into it like one big puzzle piece. I've done the same for small drop-outs by, again, saving the outer piece. |
